I recommend Michaela Glockler and Wolfgang Goebel's A Guide to Child Health. Obviously it focuses on children, but there are numerous passages about anthroposophical medicine in general. I also like L.F.C. Mees's Blessed by Illness, but that is a bit more esoteric than practical. Tom Cowan's The Fourfold Path to Healing is also good -- he is an anthroposophical physician (whom I have seen as a patient), and the book also gives movement therapy, nutrition, and meditative advice. I recommend subscribing to his email newsletter, available at http://fourfoldhealing.com/.

As for eurythmy, I don't have any book reference, but I do know that eurythmists tend to stop working while pregnant and caring for their babies. Too draining on the etheric body, I think they say.

thanks so much. i too get the fourfold emails and have always wondered if the book would be worth it. i have looked these books up: medicine for the whole person- g. douch, phases of childhood-b. lievegoed (he also has one on adults that looks quite good as well) and practical home care medicine- sophia christine murphy.
have you heard of these?
thanks!

I haven't read those books, but Lievegoed is generally a wonderful writer and resource. That home care book is one I've always meant to get!

The only problem I have with the Fourfold Healing book is that it doesn't have an index :(

I totally forgot about the 'Guide to Child Health' #-o
It is really a very good resource and has helped us a lot with ailments. Another book that I have found in my stack is 'Healing at home' by Sandra Greenstone. I actually have not managed to read it yet... It is now on my desk and will be my next reading material!
In a couple of weeks I can tell you more about it if you are interested.
