The Waldorf Board is a resource and exchange board for parents, teachers and others interested in Rudolf Steiner and anthroposophy.
The board is not intended to focus on defending Waldorf education, nor to advocate it to those who consider it. The board presumes a positive attitude of its members towards Waldorf education and therefore asks of a respectful and friendly tone to remain in discussions throughout.
If you differ with the opinions of other members, please do so courteously and respectfully.

- If you are quoting messages from other board members, either on this board or elsewhere, please ask for their permission first. Please do not post copyrighted material without the permission of the copyright holder.

- Please ask for permission from the moderator or administrator prior to posting any commercial notices or advertisements. Generally we do not want advertisements to obscure the board. However we do encourage notices and posts in regards to conferences and seminar schedules that might be of interest to its board members, as well as links and suggestions concerning the specific forums in "All About Books", "All About Music" and "Waldorf Resources".

- We would like to ask all members to refrain from posting any abusive, argumentative and needlessly confrontational messages, as well as chain mail, spam, commercial advertising, or in violation of copyrighted laws, any such guideline breaches will be subject to the following actions:

1. A PM will be sent to explain the violation and to cease or to rephrase the wording of the post.
2. If the member is unwilling to re-word the post, it will be removed from the board.
3. If there are multiple violations, the thread might need to be deleted and the member, depending on the severity of the guideline violation, could face possible removal from the board.

Questions or criticisms of how the Waldorf board is being handled, or critiques of threads that have been closed must be addressed through a PM to the moderator or the administrator.

Regarding new ideas on how to make members feel safe to post or new ideas how to improve the Waldorf board are most welcome via PM.

Signatures may contain up to 355 characters.

Posting Pictures
Members are asked to size pictures so that they are no wider than 600px. You will be asked to resize pictures of larger size. Again we want to keep our threads user friendly and easy to view for all, including those with slower network access/connections

Avatars
Users are permitted to utilize a link to one of their own images for the avatar (the image shown beneath the username in a post) User defined avatars are to be no larger than 100 pixels square, contain no animation. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, and so forth. Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.
